At our interactive online open campus, you can:
  • Take part in a live demo lesson with Professor Darren Ashmore on: The Candle and The Star: The Ancient Roots of Manga. In this discussion we shall explore three key figures from the over 1000 years of artistic history that underpin manga and how their legacy lives on. Dr. Ashmore is a Leverhulme Award winning writer, translator, actor, and anthropologist. He featured in Netflix's docuseries Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan.
